I’m Vishma — a Registered Nurse, community volunteer, and Nepali dad living in Melbourne, Australia. Baba Chhori started as a simple idea: how do I pass on our Nepali language and culture to my daughter, who is growing up far from our homeland?
What began as a father-daughter learning journey has grown into something bigger — a platform for Nepali families in Australia to learn, celebrate, and stay connected to their roots. From daily Nepali lessons and interactive games to the Melbourne Serophero documentary series, everything here is made with love for our community.
I also coordinate Nav Balchautari SEM, Melbourne’s Nepali community language school, where families come together to keep our language alive for the next generation.
